Instructor Courses

BLS Provider - Instructor

$450

Students who successfully pass the BLS Instructor Course may be affiliated with, and teach classes through, Indiana CPR First Aid LLC, at their discretion.

Pre-requisites

  • Have a current BLS Provider card.

  • Successfully complete the BLS classroom Instructor Course.

  • Successfully be monitored teaching your first course within six months of completing the BLS classroom Instructor Course. 

  • Be accepted by a local AHA Training Center and have a completed Instructor Candidate Application on file with that Training Center.

BLS Provider - Online Essentials

$38

  • The course educates instructor candidates on how to adequately use AHA Instructor teaching materials, ensure that students meet learning objectives, offer student coaching skills, provide an objective skills performance evaluation, and follow AHA Instructor and course policies. The course covers core content and discipline-specific content required to teach AHA courses.

Heartsaver - Instructor

$450

Students who successfully pass the Heartsaver Instructor Course may be affiliated with, and teach classes through, Indiana CPR First Aid LLC, at their discretion.

  • Have a current Heartsaver card.

  • Successfully complete the Heartsaver classroom Instructor Course.

  • Successfully be monitored teaching your first course within six months of completing the Heartsaver classroom Instructor Course. 

  • Be accepted by a local AHA Training Center and have a completed Instructor Candidate Application on file with that Training Center.

Heartsaver - Online Essentials

$35

Students who successfully pass the Heartsaver Instructor Course may be affiliated with, and teach classes through, Indiana CPR First Aid LLC, at their discretion.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
